What's Happening in Troop 707

Congratulations to our scouts that attended Camporee- they earned Third Place in the Top Troop award!!!!  To celebrate there will be Root Beer Floats at tonight's meeting.

Congratulations to our newly elected youth leadership!!!!!!!

Scout-O-Rama is here!!!!

There are still a number of spots left for the SOR booth this weekend.  It is important that we represent our troop at this council event.  We also use this as an opportunity to show new potential families the wonderful things our boys do.  Lastly this helps us teach our boys to cook excellent camping meals that are not cold cut sandwiches and hot dogs.

Your camp card is the ticket for the whole family to get in to SOR.

May 13 is the date for Scout-O-Rama. Scout-O-Rama is the annual “trade show” of Scouting in Orange County that is attended by over 20,000 participants. Scouts, their families and friends interested in learning about Scouting enjoy a fun-filled day of exhibits, competitions and displays. This event is open to the public. This is an awesome showcase for Troop 707 as we will be demonstrating dutch-oven cooking. It is also a great recruiting opportunity for us to gather interest from Cub Scouts.
